NYU SHANGHAI 上海纽约大学位于浦电路和松林路之间的世纪大道，坐落于竹园商贸区。它是国内首家获得教育部独立注册资质的美国大学，建筑设计由本地设计院设计，其室内设计由KPF完成。Located on Century Avenue between Pudian Road and Songling Road, NYU Shanghai is situated within the Zhuyuan Central Business District. It is the first American college to receive independent registration status from China‘s Ministry of Education. It's building design was done by LDI，the interior design was created by KPF. 入口处的前台Front Desk 一层咨询中心Welcome Center 学院商店University Store 地下一层。。。Down to the basement floor... 餐厅Canteen独特的餐厅天窗创造性的开在学院庭院内。既让餐厅内光线充足又节能环保。the unique skylight open to the inner plaza, offering the canteen sufficient brightness also making it energy-efficient. 二楼大厅。。。Up to the second floor... 礼堂Auditorium带来温暖感觉的木质礼堂成为了学院面向街道对外的主要形象。A brown wood Auditorium facing the street side has became the key image of the building. 吧台餐厅Bar Lounge利用礼堂底部空间设计出一个受学生教师欢迎的餐吧。Fully utilize the space underneath the auditorium mass to create a popular bar lounge for students and faculty. 走进礼堂。。。Enter the auditorium... 楼梯 Stair低层电梯组的设计是为了跳过有带有中庭的楼层，这些楼层鼓励学生、教师和工作人员使用相互连接的楼梯，穿梭于中庭，同时，也能减少上下课高峰期时的电梯荷载。中庭也为群体创造了一种认同感和社群感，同时也使日光能更好的穿透到底层，进入其他的教师、图书馆、行政区域以及主餐厅设施。A low rise elevator bank is designed to skip floors encouraging students, faculty and staff to use the interconnecting stairs to activate the Atrium with constant movement while alleviating the elevator loads during peak times. The Atrium also creates a sense of identity and community for the population and provides a strong connection with daylight down to the bottom level with additional classrooms, library program, administration spaces and the main dining facilities. 多功能走廊Multifunctional Corridor走廊的宽度被设计成不常见的6米宽，创造性的在走廊内放置电脑，ipad 和沙发，让学生随时可以捕捉他们的创意想法。the width of corridor is 6m, which is unusual. It consists of benches, computer & ipad desks, helping students to capture their flashy ideas. 学习空间Student Lounge学习不应该单单只发生在于图书馆和教室内。KPF在每个楼层内设置人性化的学习空间让学生能够更加方便的交流和学习。Studing should not just happen within libraries and classrooms. KPF designed the student lounge space in every floor for students to communicate and study expidiently. 教室Classroom不同规模不同形式的教堂充分满足授课的各种需求。Classrooms designed in different scales and formats can satisfy the demand of diversified teaching. 行政楼层Administration Floor 中国风会议室Chinese Meeting Room特别的，为了融合中国文化，KPF设计了具有中国风的会议室，就连地毯图案的这种细节都被考虑到。 Specially, in order to immerging into Chinese culture as a international university, KPF designed a Chinese style meeting room, even details like carpet pattern was considered.
